NO WAY

If Texas A&M beats Texas and if Boise State beats Nevada, then Boise State University's football team could wind up in a BCS bowl, probably the Fiesta, probably against Utah. Pretty heady stuff for a small (mid-major) school that wasn't even Division 1 until recently. If they don't get a BCS bid, it looks like the Broncos will get a matchup with Louisville in the Liberty Bowl Dec. 31. The Broncos beat the Cardinals in the 2000 Humanitarian Bowl (now the MPC Computer Bowl) 34-32.

The NBA has some major rehab to do. They embraced the hip-hop thug culture and now it's coming back to bite them.

The defending Kelly Cup champion Idaho Steelheads are playing well again this year. This weekend they host the Alaska Aces who feature locked-out NHL star Scott Gomez.

My new job is taking me to the Bay Area for the next several weeks, for those who read this blog, I'll do my best to provide periodic updates.

58-21? Are there no worthy contenders for the Bozo Buncos? These guys are hot. I'm so pleased to have that choice instead of BYU every week. (However, the Cougs' are on TV, even out here, a great deal.)
So, Pit Gregor...what's the new gig?
