RUMINATIONS
The Utah Jazz are off to a terrific start. Sure it's WAY early, but they are 2-0. How
about starting with a 26-point win over the Lakers in SLC followed up by a 22 point win last night at Golden State? Carlos Boozer (a Boozer in Utah?) is awesome and so is Andrei Kirelenko. A surprise has been Keith McCloud who is only getting playing time because Carlos Arroyo and Raul Lopez are starting the season on the injured list.
Those VEHIX.COM television commercials are omnipresent. They have not yet persuaded me to visit the web site, but they have my attention. And no, I don't know who their "dressed up like a computer mascot" guy is, but I like him!
Those on the left have been quick to respond to Tuesday's election. Web postings, letters to the editor and talking heads on television are attempting to pigeon hole Bush supporters as religious fanatics who were mobilized by the gay marriage issue. Get a clue guys. Anyone who thinks that a significant number of Americans would cast a vote based on such a non-issue are really reaching. I understand their attempts to marginalize the Bush win, but gay marriage was hardly the hot-button topic that mobilized some 59 million voters.
To continue with my commentary on mascots, I really, really dislike the Arby's mascot/spokesman Oven Mitt, and you should too. I'd like to see the Hamburger Helper "Helping Hand" mascot kick his, er palm.
I think a television show called Menachem in the Middle East would be a big hit in that part of the world. Another one; Ali Baba Blacksheep. Okay one more; Everybody Loves Abdul.
Am I watching too much TV?
NAAAH!

I like the commercials featuring the fighting chickens. I'm going to follow that series.
Hi Pete,
A thousand apologies for the this late reply to your comment on The Sandman's post "Suicide Bomber Porn" I'm a newbie, and I have been wracking my brains, or rather wracking the Blogger.com website to find a way to reply to a comment. Yea, I know I was beening dumb but it's not easy when you start. I went through a whole lot of stuff, even posting the " Some House Keeping Matters (Not Thoughts between Thoughts)" as a means of replying to comments.
Thanks for your comments, and I see this, and your previuos postings are close to my last "George Bush Rules" posting, but I don't like Jazz!
As for watching too much TV, I don't get any time since
I started this blog; head in the computer syndrome. Help!
Kim Rampling.
